Spring MAP Testing
MAP is a computer adaptive assessment whose questions are aligned to Illinois Learning Standards in the areas of Reading and Math (K-8 students) and Language Arts (2-8 students).
MAP generates information on student achievement, learning readiness, and growth over time. Test results are used in conjunction with other benchmarking and formative assessments to assist with a variety of instructional decisions; the identification of students in need of more intensive support or extended curricular opportunities, differentiation at the classroom and individual student levels, setting individual student learning goals, setting of classroom goals and to evaluate curriculum effectiveness.
