Curriculum

This year, students in grades 5-8 will be continuing to use the My World Interactive curriculum. Each year is designed to build off of what students learned in the year prior.

• Fifth graders will be examining different regions of the United States and their development.

• Sixth grade will be studying the foundations of civilization and how it contributes to world history.

• Seventh and eighth grade will both be studying American history. However, the curriculum begins with seventh graders learning about early settlements of the United States and eighth grade continues to build off of this by studying later history past the era of the Civil War. Throughout our learning, we will conduct short activities as well as larger scale projects to showcase our learning.
